About Me

A Full-stack Font end Designer comes to the rescue!

Hi there! My name is Wen. I’m a awesome web designer by day and a cool mom of a 6-year old by night. Welcome to my portfolio site. I have studied, lived and worked in Toronto for about 10 years. I originally came from Shanghai, China, a city that is exactly 12 hours ahead of Toronto.

As the web technologies advance, I’ve picked up a good deal of expertise along the way that empower me to turn my design into a working prototype. To have a full-stack mindset doesn’t mean that nowadays a good designer has to learn coding. But with more comprehensive understanding of the technical side, I can get to know the process and the life cycle of a product better and deliver more intuitive visual assets and better prototypes.

Career Objective:

This is what I said in my first job interview:

“To be a great Digital Media Artist. Keep self-leaning and creating each new website or any digital project with my best knowledge, greatest effort and passion.”

And this is what I tell myself:

“I just want to do something cool and be useful with my life!”

I believe that the key to achieve any great work is keeping doing it.
